We advise a percentage of 10/20% of your investment capital, in order to diversify, so the amount depends on your budget, calculating that the ideal investment would be a stone of about 1 ct (from 3000 euros upwards). Obviously the investment can be periodically increased according to the individual possibilities of the investor.

F.A.Q.
What is the average annual yield?
It is difficult to quantify, it also depends a lot on the situation of the world markets, not only the diamond market. Historically, the annual delta (the percentage of growth with respect to the previous value) of the value of diamonds is higher than that of inflation. If we want to give a conservative estimate, we can say an average of 3% per year plus the discount that we initially apply from the rapaport price list (a price list usually intended only for operators in the sector and not for private individuals).
What is the average time of return on investment (ROI)?
We are talking about a long-term investment given the low rate of return: we recommend a minimum time horizon of a decade, always remembering that you get a minimum initial discount of 20% from Loxley, plus minimum appreciation of around 30% over the decade (see question "what is the minimum annual yield").
How can I monetise it and how much will I get out of it?
We always suggest to monetize it at a specialized office (like ours), but in emergency there are many other solutions such as credit institutes operating in the sector in the withdrawal of valuables or to use it as a guarantee for an eventual request of mortgage or loan (a good part of the credit and financial institutes accept it for this purpose). It is important to point out that 50% of the profit obtained will then be reduced by 30% by the operator who buys it, but we must not lose sight of the fact that the objective of this investment is not a large potential gain, but rather to secure our savings from adverse events (too high taxes, price volatility, etc.).
Can a jewel purchase have the same value as an investment?
Of course but it must always be accompanied by an international certification or at least a certification by the seller.
As an alternative to targeting individuals and private persons, are there dedicated investments for companies and VAT numbers?
Of course, Loxley has developed investment plans for those who are not private individuals. But these are customised formulas, to be discussed individually with our specialist advisers.
Why choose Loxley Diamonds?
Because we are wholesalers who operate by buying directly from the sources of the product, and unlike banks we have lower sales commissions than the average of other operators in the industry, providing a real discount from the rapaport list prices (which is the only official arbitrage tool in the diamond market).
We treat the end customer to all intents and purposes as a professional trader.
